An unusual perspective of the journey along the Rhaetian Railway's spectacular Bernina Line as we take to the air to follow the train from Pontresina in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy. Mainly the helicopter view but with cab views and some additional line-side and train shots.  Filmed from Pontresina to Alp Grum in winter and then the remainder of the journey in summer.  Because the temperature in winter on take-off was -26 degrees celsius and dropped to -40 degrees by the summit, we were only able to film for a limited time so the helicopter views do not begin until Morteratsch.  The helicopter filming had to end at Campocologno as we were not allowed to fly across the international border into Italy.  Stations and tunnels named on screen.  English commentary.  R/T 110 mins.
